We all experience stress while working. What about when it becomes too much to handle? This is called burnout. This happens when we are overworked in out field and are left feeling tired, stressed and unsure of what to do next. Burnout can also lead to depression and anxiety. It is important to identify when we are having problems in the work place in order to be successful. We also need to have a healthy work life balance in order to stay mentally and physically strong. Here are a few coping strategies. Do not take work home with you, make sure to take your scheduled break, engage in activities that you enjoy outside of work and if things get worse seek out a mental health professional for support.
