Persistent Depressive Disorder

 Persistent Depressive Disorder is similar to major depression in many of the symptoms. It tends to be less severe than depression. It consists of a persistent depressed mood for at least 2 years. It is accompanied changes in appetite, sleeping patterns, hopelessness, helplessness and down feelings. Anti-depressants in conjunction with psychotherapy are the major forms of treatment.
