Relationships & Arguments

Relationships, especially intimate ones are complex and take a lot of work. I've been told by couples that they argue in their relationship which increases stress and discord. While arguing can be negative in a relationship , it can also be a way to strengthen the relationship. A lot of times it can lead to an improvement in what is causing difficulties in the relationship and a better understanding of how each partner needs to grow. Try these tips next time you are in an argument: Try texting if it was a verbal argument as this can take away some of the explosive emotions. Try listening to the others point of view rather than viewing the other persons concern as an attack. And of course try counseling as a counselor can help couples communicate and share their ideas in a safe environment.
